Spy Orbit goggles are a mid to high tier goggle from Spy Optics. The Orbit’s feature Spy’s patented Scoop ventilation system to prevent fogging. A dual frame structure provides a comfortable inner frame against your face with a sturdy outer frame to prevent damage. A triple layer of Dri-Force fleece on the inner frame keeps sweat off your face and adds comfort. A dual adjustment straps works well with or without a helmet. The goggles are great for small or medium sized faces.

We’ve continued to hear great things about the Scoop ventilation system. One boarder wore these all last season from Whistler to Big Sky and said he didn’t experience fog once, even in rain at Whistler. That is pretty high praise. People either love or hate the futuristic look of the goggles. Many people have reported getting compliments on them. The Spy Orbit goggles come in several colors include Simple Luxe, Wildcats (blue and red) and Black Shiny. They are also available with mirrored lenses on some models.

The Von Zipper Feenom is a high end goggle in Von Zipper’s line. It is sized for medium to large size faces and features contoured triple density face foam. The spherical lens provides excellent peripheral vision (some of the best we have seen). Vents help to keep the circulation moving and to prevent fogging. The goggles also feature a helmet hinge. The Von Zipper Feenom goggles come in a wide variety of colors and with a multitude of lens choices for every riding condition.

Riders say they never have a problem with the Feenom’s fogging up. The peripheral vision of these goggles is also praised, as is their comfort level. One rider, who claims to have a smaller face, says they still fit him well and are extra comfortable. Another rider says he buys a new pair of goggles every year in search of the perfect pair and that the Von Zipper Feenom’s are his perfect pair. One person did claim that these goggles pinched their nose, although they said they have a large head. One person also claimed their strap broke the first day out, but we imagine he may have been a little rough with his pair.

Anon Realm Goggles are one of the top of the line offerings in Anon’s goggle lineup. The Realm goggles feature Spherical Lens Technology which helps to enhance your peripheral vision and give a clearer view. There is also an air mesh ventilation system which is interchangeable and gives you different amounts of breathability for different conditions. Anon goggles are also famous for the great face foam they put on their goggles. The Realm’s feature Plush Fit Face Foam which is hypoallergenic and very soft.

Skiers and snowboarder both give positive reviews of the Anon Realm. The fog control is almost always highly praised as is the fit. We did hear one person complain about these fogging more than his Oakleys, we also heard one rider say that these goggles do not fit well with his Bern helmet and that he was going back to an old pair of Spy Goggles. Both of those riders did say the peripheral view is excellent.
